在Eclipse 3.7 安裝 Android Development Tools

大家都知道要開發Android APP，就要裝Eclipse，再加上ADT plugin，

而安裝的方法在Android Developers上，

『ADT Plugin for Eclipse』這個部分，

我在Lubuntu 11.10上用套件庫安裝了Eclipse，

發現無法順利的將ADT plugin給裝好，

原因是我使用了archive.ubuntu.com這個軟體來源，

而上面的Eclipse版本是3.7的Indigo，

因此安裝過程當中，有一點點需要注意的地方。

在Android Developers的網站說明裡，有安裝ADT plugin的教學，

我修改了一下步驟，並且加上了在Windows 7下操作的圖片，

來輔助一下說明。

Downloading the ADT Plugin Use the Update Manager feature of your Eclipse installation to install the latest revision of ADT on your development computer. Assuming that you have a compatible version of the Eclipse IDE installed, as described in Preparing for Installation, above, follow these steps to download the ADT plugin and install it in your Eclipse environment. 1. Start Eclipse, then select Help > Install New Software....

2. Click Add, in the top-right corner. 我的建議是在第二個步驟的地方更改為： 點選Install New Software畫面中的『Avaliable Software Sites』，

在第三個步驟的部分，除了原本的網址外，還要另外新增一個：

3. In the Add Repository dialog that appears, enter "ADT Plugin" for the Name and the following URL for the Location:https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/ http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo

因為在安裝ADT plugin的時候，Eclipse還會去尋找一些缺少的plugin，

在Lubuntu下安裝完，預設是沒有這些軟體來源的，

所以如果沒有加上這個軟體來源的網址，

就會因為找不到其他plugin，造成安裝失敗，

4. 如果沒有看到下面的畫面，請關掉視窗，重新開啟『Install New Software 』

5. In the Available Software dialog, select the checkbox next to Developer Tools and click Next.

剩下的步驟就跟著Android Developers網站上的說明，

應該就可以順利完成安裝ADT plugin，

6. In the next window, you'll see a list of the tools to be downloaded. Click Next. 7. Read and accept the license agreements, then click Finish. Note: If you get a security warning saying that the authenticity or validity of the software can't be established, click OK. 8. When the installation completes, restart Eclipse.

過程當中如果發生一些資源檔無法下載，造成安裝失敗，

那麼請多重試幾次，甚至換一下網路環境，

這點我也不知道為什麼，我也碰過這樣的情形，

換一下網路 (改成用手機3G分享的WiFi之類的)，就成功了。
